Terms & conditions for reservations and payment.

These terms and conditions apply to all reservations made directly with us, including reservations made through our website and reservations made through third parties.

1. RESERVATIONS

E-mail confirmation of the number of people, price, accommodation and other products and services to be provided by the hotel, will be forwarded to the guest when a booking has been made.

2. VALIDITY OF THE PRICE AGREEMENT

The agreed prices are binding on both parties. Prices are offered based on current tax rules. The hotel reserves the right to adjust prices as a result of an increase in purchase costs for goods and services, an increase in taxes, fees and charges, or other circumstances beyond the hotel's control.

3. CHANGE AND CANCELLATION

The terms for canceling your order depend on the type of order. Please check the cancellation policy for your booking in the booking confirmation you have received from us.

Flexible : Room reservations with flexible rates can be changed or canceled free of charge until the cancellation deadline stated in the confirmation letter. A cancellation reference will be given and should be kept as proof of cancellation. If you cancel a reservation after the deadline (including "no show"), you will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to one night's accommodation per booked room.

Non-refundable : For the avoidance of doubt, the room (s) may not be canceled, altered or refunded (including any no show). You may want to take out room cancellation insurance in case you need to cancel your reservation.

3.1. Booking guarantee
All bookings require advance guarantee via company agreement, travel agency or credit card.

3.2 Corporate contract orders
For company agreement orders with Solsiden Bryggegeg, the order / cancellation terms in the agreement apply.

4. PAYMENT

Payment is due on departure unless otherwise agreed in advance of the stay.

4.1 Cash payment
For cash payment, the hotel requires a cash deposit or a credit card reservation upon check-in.

4.2 Card payment
Solsiden Brygge accepts payment from the following credit card companies: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and Eurocard. This also applies to orders made via our website. Credit cards will be pre-approved on arrival as a guarantee of payment.

4.3 Invoicing
Invoicing must be agreed in advance of the stay. A credit check will be carried out.

5. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

We guarantee check-in from 15:00 on the day of arrival, and the hotel room must be vacated by 11.00 on the day of departure.

6. PRIVACY

7. FORCE MAJEURE

Solsiden Brygge assumes no responsibility and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, floods, earthquakes, extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, terrorist acts, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water or other utility services, construction machinery, computers, vehicles or the collapse of building structures.

8. JURISDICTION PLACE

All disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement (the guest and the hotel) shall be subject to Norwegian law. If an amicable settlement cannot be reached, the place of jurisdiction shall be where the hotel has its business office.
